At Karna Foundation, we understand the profound impact that access to clean and appropriate clothing can have on an individual's well-being and self-esteem. Our cloth distribution initiatives are dedicated to providing warmth, dignity, and protection to those in need within our community.
Through generous donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations, we collect a wide range of clothing items, including coats, jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves, socks, and more. These donations are carefully sorted and organized at our distribution centers, where they are made available to individuals and families facing financial hardship or experiencing homelessness.
Our approach to cloth distribution is guided by principles of dignity and respect. We believe that everyone deserves to feel valued and dignified, regardless of their circumstances. Therefore, we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment at our distribution centers, where individuals can browse and select clothing items that meet their specific needs and preferences.
In addition to providing immediate relief, our cloth distribution programs also aim to promote self-sufficiency and empowerment. By offering clothing workshops and resources on mending and caring for garments, we empower individuals to extend the life of their clothing and develop valuable skills that can improve their quality of life.
